Finally, talented footballer Carlos Tevez can sigh in relief after the Manchester City boss agreed to his transfer to South America football giants, the Corinthians. Tevez's reasons for wanting to leave city have never been clarified but he sticks to the fact that he needs to be closer to his family. Initially, Manchester City had rejected a thirty nine million pounds deal from the club rumored to be withholding fifty million pounds in assets.
However, Mancini still said that Tevez remains a Man City player till the deal is signed. It is a deal and releasing the team captain is inevitable. He was telling Sky news sports; Corinthians have played host to Tevez and it is argued that he enjoyed making a football land mark there. He was a very instrumental player and the Sao Paulo club management could not let him slip off again. Mancini also stated that the relocation to South America will help him bond with his family again and he had no reasons to deny the twenty-seven year old player that privilege.
Corithians' manager, Andres Sanchez had last week hinted that Juventus was also in the race to sign Tevez. However, Cartlos Tevez personal advisor had revealed a few days ago that the signing was on course. Tevez was also instrumental as he was committed to going back to render services to a team that made him a champion that he is.
The player, whose contract at City had to end on June 2014 has registered exemplary performances for the now English champions, Manchester United and previously played for West Ham United. He finished a joint top scorer with Berbatov last season having registered a total of 20 goals.
Information from the premier league Tevez's saga points back to December last year. On the twelfth of December, Tevez revealed his discontentment with his stay at City. One week later, he withdrew his transfer request and decided to commit his future to Man City. After remaining in the cold for some time, Tevez came back to the limelight in May this year, stating that he would only consider staying at City if his family issues are catered for. Tevez made his ambitions clearly, on the fourth of this month when he declared that he had come to decision to relocate to South America to be close to his family.
The latest information is that with insufficient time in which to complete the move before the South African transfer window closed Tevez remains, for the moment at least, a Man City player.
